Suzuki Katana 2019 launch - the legend is reborn

At the 2018 Intermot Motorcycle Show taking place in Germany, Suzuki has brought the Katana model with a unique design - nostalgia for the future. With the 2019 Katana, Suzuki is aiming to improve its market share in the 1,000cc crossover segment. Similar to the 1981 katana, the Katana 2019 was also penned in Europe by designer Rodolfo Frascoli. Having succeeded with many famous brands such as Moto Guzzi or Triumph, Frascoli has re-imagined the legendary GSX-1100S Katana on the new model. At the top of the car, the 2019 Katana features a wedge-shaped design, square headlamp combined with a low-profile windshield inspired by the older model. All lighting and signal systems on the Katana are powered by LED technology.
The gas tank on the 2019 Katana only 12 liters.
Katana 2019 is equipped with shock absorbers upside down form of KYB with a diameter of 43 mm cylinder can adjust the load. The latter can also be customized. Front disc brakes utilize the four-piston Brembo monoblock brake pads from the GSX-R1000 equipped with ABS technology.
The clock with monochromatic LCD screen is taken from the superbike GSX-R1000, but it has its own interface for the 2019 Katana. Similar to the other Suzuki models, the Katana 2019 also features the Easy Start System featured.
