Launched at the end of 2018 with Panigale V4 R and Hypermotard 950, Ducati Diavel 1260 2019 model power cruiser with more muscular and pitier designs than its predecessor. This model was launched in Thailand in the ongoing Bangkok International Car Show. Stepping into the second generation, Diavel is still loyal to the previous generation's cruiser design language, only slightly changing its appearance and upgrades in technology and engines. Overall, Diavel 1260 2019 has a design that influenced quite a lot from the XDiavel model, becoming more angular and pitiful than the previous generation. The most similar parts of XDiavel are the headlights with LED daylight lamps, the side air vents on the gas tank and the plow more seamlessly. At the rear, the rear is also designed to be more compact but still retains Diavel's previous generation features such as longitudinal LED taillights, low set fenders with number plates and turn signal lights. The aluminum single gripper and multi-spoke pair are also maintained from the previous generation. Diavel 1260's exhaust system is redesigned with a similar exhaust under XDiavel. The neck of the exhaust pipe is also concealed, helping to reduce the amount of heat radiating straight to the driver's legs. A point of improvement on Diavel 1260 is a digital watch panel that displays all information. The new dashboard is much more convenient than the previous generation when the black and white dashboard is separate from the display showing the driving mode set on the gas tank. Besides, Diavel 1260 also has a smart key, connecting the bluetooth to the phone. In terms of motivation, Diavel 1260 2019 is shared with L-Twin Testastretta DVT 1,262 cc from XDiavel. This machine produces 159 hp at 9,500 rpm and 129 Nm of torque at 7,500 rpm. The power is transmitted to the wheel by the chain, instead of the belt like XDiavel. Ducati Diavel 1260 has 2 versions: standard version and S. sports version. In version S, this cruiser model has a series of brand equipment such as front / rear Ohlins shock absorbers, Brembo brake pads and Ducati system Quick Shift Up & Down Evo. In the US, Ducati Diavel 1260 costs $ 21,000 and $ 25,000 for the standard version and S. Ducati Thailand sports version has not yet announced the price of this power cruiser model. As expected, Diavel 1260 will be slightly cheaper than XDiavel's $ 28,000 price. No information is available about whether this sample will soon return to Vietnam.
