With 782cc V4-VTEC engine, Honda engineers focus primarily on improving the camshaft travel time and operating life of exhaust valves to maintain low to medium torque. The company announced the capacity of VFR800F engine is 104.5 hp at 10,250 rpm and Torque 55.4 Nm at 8500 rpm. The VTEC system still controls one pair of suction and exhaust valves at each cylinder at low speed, when rewinding is pushed high, all 4 suction-discharge valves at each cylinder are fully activated. Honda's traction control system (TCS) is equipped as standard and controlled from the left hand drive. VFR headlights are upgraded and used L.E.D bulbs, positioning lights are still placed on the rearview mirror as in the form VFR1200F. The rear seat is redesigned wider and the rear light is also fully used with L.E.D. The seat is adjustable from 788mm to 808mm. The steering wheel is also enhanced by 15mm.
