Honda CB650R
As the junior of CB1000R, the CB650R uses the design language called Neo Sports Cafe, which has a more modern look than the previous CB series of Honda. For those who still love the simple and sophisticated design of the old CB series, the new design will bring a lot of surprises and it doesn't feel like there are many "Honda" features in it. Before CB650R, the CB1000R elder used this new design language. Diamond frame, the later part of the latch is machined by stamping method, saving 1.9kg compared to the previous design. Double elliptical cylinders with specially tuned rigidity, are introduced to increase vehicle performance and feedback. All lights on the car are LED. Front lamp with round design, combined with 2 parallel lights strip inside. This is the most prominent feature on the car's design. The new CB650R is equipped with Showa SFF reverse telescopic front shock absorber with the ability to adjust the damping and preloading separately, making it possible to grip the front wheel at maximum. Vehicle weight decreased to 202kg (6kg less than the previous model) thanks to weight reduction in the chassis and improvements in new fuel tank and footrest bar. The LCD display screen includes information on speed, water thermometer, digital position, rewinding alarm clock and digital indicator light that is directly linked to the motor cycle so that the driver can easily identify when need to transfer numbers. The maximum power of CB650R reaches 93.8 horsepower at 12,000 rpm and maximum torque of 64Nm at 8,500 rpm. According to Honda, engineers have improved the 649cc engine, DOHC 16-valve engine, which eliminates the slight reduction of torque at the 5,500 rpm cycle, bringing 5% higher power when turning over 10,000 rpm, with the maximum rpm is extended. The new CB650R is equipped with Honda's Torsion Control (HSTC) feature that maximizes the traction capability for the rear wheels and a 2-way anti-skid clutch (A&S clutch), which facilitates gear up and down.
