Suzuki GSX-S1000
Suzuki GSX-S1000 debuted at the international car exhibition Intermot 2014. As a rival of Kawasaki Z1000, Honda CB1000R, BMW S1000R or Yamaha MT-10. For the Vietnamese market, the Suzuki GSX-S1000 is not new, because the car was present at many private importers since June 2015. The design concept of the GSX-S1000 is based on an animal that prepares the Crouching Beast. This is most evident in the headlights with demi lights similar to those of the fangs below the lights. The body of the car is shaped in a cut, muscular style but is compact and dynamic along with the elegant and somewhat rear-end rear. In the front, the Suzuki GSX-S1000 uses KYB backtrack, Brembo dual disc brakes. While the rear includes single disc brakes, Showa monosock shock absorbers and grips made of aluminum alloy material. In addition, the ABS brakes on both wheels and exhaust pipes add a small section of noise-reducing pipes to comply with Vietnamese law. The basic parameters of the car are as follows: 2,115mm length, 795mm width, height 1,080mm, 140mm roaring light, 810mm quiet height, 210kg weight and 17 liter fuel tank. In particular, the GSX-S1000 is equipped with Traction Control 3 traction control system (1, 2, 3). Mode 1 is the lowest sensitivity level, suitable for skilled drivers or in good traction conditions. Mode 2 is a normal sensitivity level, suitable for normal road conditions. Mode 3 is the highest sensitivity, suitable for slippery, rainy or excellent roads. If desired, the operator can turn off the Traction Control system. "Heart" of GSX-S1000 is 999 cubic engine block, 4 cylinders in line, DOHC, cooled with solution. This engine block is inherited from the 2008 GSX-R1000, but it has been adapted accordingly. It is capable of producing a maximum capacity of 143.5 hp at 10,000 rpm engine, maximum torque at 106 Nm at 9,500 rpm, with a 6-speed gearbox.
