BMW Motorrad has announced its first self-driving model, based on the BMW R1200GS. The car can move, turn, brake when there are obstructions without the operator. The R1200GS can gather information around the sensors as well as the data stored at the previous rider. The vehicle then processes the information and makes decisions on acceleration, braking or steering. According to the German automaker, their future models will have smart assistive technologies such as memory and analysis of the driver's behavior, which predicts dangerous situations.
